We would like to present you the newest classification issued by the Building Research Institute as regards fire resistance of spandrels of curtain walls for systems: Yawal FA 50N, Yawal FA 50N HI, Yawal FA 50N HL, Yawal FA 50N VL, and Yawal FA 50N SL.
Changes in the document cover:
- new pressure clips
- introduction of REI class for walls
- supplementation of the classification with FA 50N SL EI 60 variant
- new masking profiles
- the possibility to cover the profiles with wood-like covers
- supplementation of the classification with steel washers
- determination of windows manufacturers to use in the structure of the facade FA 50N EI 30: Vetrotech, AGC,
- determination of windows manufacturers to use in the structure of the facade FA 50N EI 60: Vetrotech, AGC, Pilkington.
