The 'Green Yawal' conference marked the beginning of a new era for the Yawal Group.

During the event, the company not only officially declared its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact, but also presented innovative ideas and solutions in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This initiative, which emphasised the importance of eco-friendly practices, was also a celebration of the company's membership of the prestigious global network.

The event focused on eco-friendly initiatives and was designed to highlight not only the improvement of internal processes, but also the commitment to environmental protection. This joint initiative enabled the exchange of experiences and the presentation of innovative solutions proposed by the Yawal team.

Yawal S.A. CEO Karolina Mzyk - Callias noted at the event that this was an opportunity to reflect on the future of the Yawal Group. A key topic of discussion was the vision of a Green Yawal in 2050, creating value for employees, customers, the environment and owners. She also emphasised the importance of eco-innovation as an integral part of the company's strategy.

The meeting was a step towards achieving environmental goals. Exceptional guests at the meeting were Ms Katarzyna Zawodna-Bijoch, President of Skanska CEE, and Monika Rajska-Wolińska, President of Colliers CEE, who shared their experiences in implementing ESG principles in their global companies operating in Poland.

Editor-in-Chief of Architecture and Business, Małgorzata Tomczak, moderated a panel discussion that discussed best practice in ESG implementation and the managerial perspective on the journey.

The meeting enabled the presentation of innovative solutions, such as practical ideas for saving water and innovative solutions in waste management, which were presented by the Yawal team. These presentations showed that small steps can lead to big changes, and that creativity and employee involvement are key to achieving environmental goals.
